Susan Vance began practicing law in 1988 and joined the firm in 2008. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of maritime law and insurance coverage, and she has served as an adjunct professor in Marine Insurance at Tulane University Law School.
Ms. Vance earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in 1976, where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Kappa Delta Pi honor societies. In 1988, she graduated from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where she received a Juris Doctor degree in 1988. She was a member of the Loyola Law Review. While at Loyola, she served as a research assistant for A Quantum Study of Pain and Suffering Awards for Personal Injuries in Louisiana Appellate Courts, published in the Loyola Law Review, and received the Corpus Juris Secundum Award in Labor Law.
