GENERAL CASUALTY LITIGATION

Larzelere Picou Wells Simpson Lonero, LLC acts as defense litigation counsel for individuals, small and large companies, and insureds on behalf of their liability insurers. We litigate cases in both state and federal courts throughout Louisiana and the Gulf South. These cases include all manner of personal injury, property damage, products liability, premises liability, and construction claims. Much of our general casualty litigation practice is devoted to complex multi-party and mass joinder litigation. In addition, Louisiana has a somewhat unique Direct Action Statute, whereby a claimant can bring the insurer of a defendant into a lawsuit as a named defendant, so we often represent insurers and underwriters as named defendants in casualty litigation.
